I didn’t do this last week because there were a million other things going on, so here’s two weeks of what I’ve been reading and writing! What I’m Reading and Writing Wednesday is my spin on WWW Wednesday, hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. Another awesome feature is This Week in Books over at Lipsyy Lost & Found!
I just finished Reading…
I read both Crown of Midnight and Heir of Fire in less than a week. I also bought The Assassins Blade, which I will be reading before I get Queen of Shadows. With the a new job situation I will talk to you about later , I don’t know if I will be able to afford Queen of Shadows anytime soon, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed. Will probably talk more about my new book buying budget in a post very soon.
What I’m Reading Now…
You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day. I’m about half-way through this book right now and am loving it. It’s been a while since I’ve read a memoir. This one has me laughing out loud and I can definitely relate to so many of her stories. Keep an eye out for a review of this one!
And Etiquette and Espionage by Gail Carriger. A friend of mine recommended her book Soulless to me, but I thought I would check out her YA trilogy first. I love Steampunk, but I don’t know how I feel about this book yet. It might be mainly because I just binge read the 3 Throne of Glass books and am used to a different writing style though.
What I’m Reading Next…
The Assassins Blade because I can’t get enough of Throne of Glass or Sarah J. Maas.
What I’m Writing…
I’ve been averaging about one Chapter of TGGC a week again. While that’s not necessarily bad, I really think I could do at least two.
This month I am doing my own Camp NaNoWriMo with one of my critique partners and I am hoping I can push through the next 10 chapters and have them all nice, revised, and polished.
Good luck with the writing! I’ve got a short story I want to start polishing soon but school starts today… Glad you liked the memoir. I love reading one from time to time, especially a fun one. Happy reading!
Thanks Sam and good luck with school.
I love memoir and it’s been a long time since I’ve enjoyed one. I highly recommend You’re Never Weird on the Internet. It’s a blast.
I didn’t know how to feel about Etiquette and Espionage either but I did love Soulless so I highly recommend it!

I might have to DNF Etiquette and Espionage— and see if the library can get me Soulless because I’ve heard such great things.
I REALLY need to start the Throne of Glass series! But your post has backed my suspicions that I need to clear time to read the books back to back…
I’ll look forward to hearing what you think of You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) as I’m always trying to remind myself to read some non-fiction and I like memoirs.
Here’s my WWW post: http://clairehuston.wordpress.com/2015/09/02/www-wednesday-2nd-september-2015/
You definitely will want to read them back-to-back. I ended one and picked up the next.
You’re Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) has been such an entertaining read and is very relatable. I highly recommend it 🙂
Yay for Throne Of Glass! I loved the first three books and I will be getting a copy of Queen Of Shadows soon. The Assassin’s Blade is entertaining as well, especially since we get to learn more about her past!
Happy Wednesday! Here’s my WWW.
Can’t wait to read The Assassin’s Blade or Queen of Shadows. <3 Happy reading
