Bookish Resolutions for 2014

1. Read More!

While I read quite a few books in 2013, I feel like I slacked quite a bit in the beginning and end of the year. In 2014, my goal is to read at least 50 books (which seems quite do-able). I will also keep a list of books read in 2014 here on my blog with links to reviews and such to help me keep track and so I can recommend my favorites to you!

2. Finish my manuscript

NaNoWriMo was pretty much my favorite thing about 2013. It was the first year that I actually won. In 2014, my goal is to revise, edit, and end up with a decently polished novel (that is hopefully finished)! While all of that might not happen. I would at least like to revise and write another draft or two.

3. Blog More!

I’m not going to lie, I sucked at updating my here this year. I started strong and posted quite a bit for a while there, but ended up feeling so much pressure when the TBR list got huge and life got in the way. So I would like to blog at least once a week during 2014 (and aim for at least 3 times a week). So look forward to vlogs, reviews of books, and posts about writing in the future.

4. Do Camp NaNoWriMo in July and NaNo again in November

I never felt better than I did when I was writing every day and working toward that goal. Even if I don’t look at what I write ever again, it was so freeing to get all of my thoughts and ideas out there.

5. Be Awesome

Self-explanatory 🙂

Happy 2014, friends! I hope that you all have a safe and fun celebration.
