What I'm Reading & Writing Wednesday

whatimreadingandwritingwednesdayHappy Wednesday! Sorry that this is posted a little late in the day, but I figured since I didn’t post last week that I should fill all of you in on what I’ve been up to! What I’m Reading & Writing Wednesday my take on WWW Wednesday, brought to us by Taking on a World of Words.

What I Finished Reading…

Dreamless and Goddess in the Starcrossed trilogy by Josephine Angelini. This trilogy was a fun read, but the last book kind of fell a little flat for me. It didn’t suck me in like the first two books in the series did.

What I’m Reading Now…

BLOOD_OF_O_final_cvrIt’s about time, right??!?! I just started this book yesterday and am really excited since I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this since it came out. I am so glad that our library has inter-library loan!

What I’m Reading Next…

16182304Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd!  This finally came in at the library for me, so it’s lined up for right after The Blood of Olympus.

What I’m Writing…

Last week was so busy that I wrote nothing. I finished up Chapter 26 early in the week and made no progress on 27. Currently, Chapter 27 is about half finished, so I’m hoping to get it to two of my CP’s by Saturday.

I got another CP about 2 weeks ago and she is beginning to read the first couple of chapters in The Girl in the Glass Coffin. Her feedback has been so helpful! However, it makes me realize how much work TGGC really needs. Yikes! My novel will be so much stronger after working with her, though. And this is my first novel, so I’m ok with the process taking a while.

What I’m Up To…

No really, the past couple of weeks have been so busy. Last weekend I went to a good friend’s wedding and spent the couple of weeks before helping my boyfriend (who was the best man) prepare some things.

I’m preparing for a craft show in late April. I’m not nearly ready though. Oops.

Roller derby is still going awesome. I’m still terrible at it though haha.
