Last Ten Books That Came Into My Possession

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and The Bookish. This week’s theme is the last ten books that came into my possession. In no particular order, these are the last ten books that I’ve purchased within the last couple of months.

1. The Iron King by Julie Kagawa

2. A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

3. Under the Lights by Dahlia Adler

4. Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins

5. Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas

6 & 7 . Something Strange and Deadly andย  A Darkness Strange and Lovely by Susan Dennard

8 & 9. Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children and Hollow City by Ransom Riggs

10. Writing with Emotion, Tension, and Conflict by Cheryl St. John

And there are probably ones that I missed, but this is most of them!

What are the last ten books that came into your possession, whether you bought them, got from the library, or borrowed from a friend?

You have some awesome books on this list! I hope you enjoy ACOTAR and Throne of Glass. I’ve been wanting to pick up Something Strange and Deadly, so I’ll be looking forward to seeing what you think!

I love how the covers go together beautifully–I wonder if that says anything about how you choose books? (i.e. how influential is the cover??)

I try not to judge books by there cover, but as you can see there are certainly colors and styles I’m drawn to! Sometimes I pick up a book because the cover looks interesting only to read the back and be disappointed that it’s not something I’m interested in. Other times, I can’t wait to read them. Hmmm seems like a topic that would make for a great blog post!
