Top Paranormal Books to Read this October.

paranormal booksOctober is the time of Halloween. If you love to read books about ghosts and monsters this time of year, here is a list of my top paranormal books to read this October.

These books are mostly YA (young adult) with some middle grade (MG) mixed in –so there will hopefully be something for everyone. But even if you’re an adult, I highly recommend these books to you! If you missed my last post Top Ten Witchy Books to read this October, you can find it here.

witchy books Ahhh it’s finally fall! It’s the season of fresh apples (and apple cider) and pumpkin spice (and everything nice). And– October is here, which means Halloween!!! So what better time than to start reading books to get you into that Autumn and Halloween spirit? Here are my Top 10 Witchy Books to Read this October.

1. The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassell by Alyssa Palombowitchy books

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is a beloved tale, told countless times in film, television, and cartoon form. It’s always been told from the point of view of Ichabod Crane, a school teacher. Never before have we seen the story through the heroine, Katrina Van Tassel’s eyes. In the new release The Spellbook of Katrina Van Tassel, author Alyssa Palombo has done just that.

While this is one of the few books I haven’t read on this list, today is The Witch of Willow Hall’s book birthday! This book begins two hundred years after the Salem Witch Trials and the three Montrose sisters find a darkness calling to them in their new home, Willow Hall. Continue reading
