So You Want to Write a Novel (2015)
This 5 part series originated as a presentation I gave to beginner writers at my writing group, those who wanted to write a novel, novella, or short story and had no idea where to start. I developed these a little more and went more in depth for the blog posts (as I didn’t have to cram them all into a 2 hour class). Any feedback, and ideas for other posts I should make in this series are more than welcome!
- Part 1: Getting Ideas
- Part 2: Audience, Genre, and Planning vs. Pantsing
- Part 3: Characters
- Part 4: Conflict
- Part 5: World Building
